My name is
Woody Underwood and I am a Life Scout in B.S.A. Troop 30, in
Plainville, CT. As many of you may be aware, Boy Scouts must
complete a service project, more commonly known as an "Eagle
Project" in order to obtain the highest rank in Boy
Scouting, Eagle. I have been planning an Eagle Project at the
Plainville United Methodist Church. I will be creating a
peace garden for meditation and church beautification.
The garden
will feature a peace pole, which is an eight foot high,
six-sided red cedar pole with the words "May Peace Prevail
on Earth" inscribed on each side in a different language.
The purpose of the garden and pole is to promote peace in
our often turbulent world.
For all the
details about the project, take a look at the proposal under
the "Proposal" section by using the link above.

Once again,
thank you for your support. |
